Chapter 1 Test - Meeting of Cultures

This is your test for Chapter 1 of the Brinkley text, The Collision of Cultures. You'll find a mix of multiple choice and true-false items. It's expected that you will have read the chapter first - so go back and do that now, if you haven't already! When you've finished, complete each item in the test and when you're finished, click the "Submit" button. Your grade will automatically appear, along with the correct and incorrect responses to each item. 

You will also note that I incorporate an image with each item. Sometimes, those images may provide a clue to the answer - not often, but if you know where to look... 

I have tried to make these quizzes enjoyable and useful to you as a learning tool. Don't expect to get them all right, but if you read the text in advance you should do all right. Naturally, these quizzes are "open book," and they are untimed. Complete them by the applicable deadlines, however, or you'll need to wait until I've reviewed your submission before getting your results back.
